Washington State Jr Application Requirements and Fees

  • Proof of direct bloodline relationship of the same lineage to a member of the Washington State Society is required.
    • Provide a copy of
      • a) the sponsor’s lineage paper,
      • b) the Junior Applicant’s Birth Certificate, and
      • c) marriage and birth certificates that connect Junior Applicant to the sponsor. (Article III, Section 3b of the Bylaws)
  • The applicant must be under the age of 18 years.
  • Pay a Junior Membership fee of $15.00 per individual application
  • Junior Membership may be held until the age of 25 years.

Upon attaining the age of 18 years, a Junior member may become a voting member in full standing by complying with the requirements for membership in the General and State Societies; including payment of the regular entrance fee, annual dues, and completion of the standard application forms. (Article III, Section 3a of the Bylaws). Please submit the below application to the Assistant Historian online, then mail your $15.00 check payable to the Mayflower Society and proof of relationship as outlined above in Requirements and Fees to:

Juniors will receive their printed certificate at the next scheduled meeting or in the mail signed by the Washington State Society of Mayflower Descendants Governor.
